Giant Gashapon Machine Hire

Giant Gashapon Machine hire creates a high-impact prize experience built around anticipation, interaction and surprise. Participants turn the oversized handle to release a 10cm capsule, making each play simple to understand while giving brands a memorable way to distribute merchandise, promotional items or instant-win prizes.

Available for events and branded activations across Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, the Giant Gashapon Machine can be incorporated into retail campaigns, exhibitions, product launches and corporate events.

How It Works

Participants insert a token or use the machine in free play mode, then turn the large front handle to activate the mechanism. The machine dispenses one 10cm capsule per turn into the collection opening at the base of the cabinet.

The oversized format turns a familiar capsule-machine interaction into a focal point for the event. The visible prize chamber, physical handle and one-at-a-time capsule reveal create anticipation, crowd interest and repeat participation.

For branded activations, the machine provides a controlled and engaging method of distributing prizes or promotional merchandise. Capsules are supplied with the machine, and prize selection is limited by what can fit inside the 10cm capsules.

Branding Options

  • Full Wrap — Standard
Every hire includes a full custom wrap as standard. Artwork is applied across the front face and both side panels, turning the entire visible cabinet into branded surface area. This is the baseline, not an upgrade.
  • LED Edge Lighting — Standard
The illuminated trim running around the cabinet edges and windows is fully colour-customisable. We match it to your artwork as closely as the lighting allows, so the machine reads as your brand from across the room — before anyone is close enough to see the logo.
  • Marquee — Branded Panel
The lit window at the top of the cabinet can be blocked off and branded. It is a prime position at eye level, sitting directly above the prize chamber: ideal for a logo lockup, campaign line or hero artwork.
  • Marquee — Prize Showcase
Alternatively, leave the marquee clear and it becomes a lit display case. Sample prizes are set out on acrylic shelving so guests can see exactly what is inside the capsules before they play. Showing the reward drives participation far more effectively than describing it — a strong choice for collectible or premium prizes.
  • Coloured Capsules — Optional Extra
Clear capsules are supplied as standard. Colour-matched capsules can be ordered at additional cost, typically requiring around three weeks’ lead time depending on the colours selected.
  • Internal Rear Wall — Optional Extra
The rear wall inside the prize chamber can also be printed. Seen through the capsules and the front window, it adds a branded backdrop to the part of the machine guests look at most.

During consultation, we’ll recommend the branding configuration that best suits your campaign objectives and venue layout.

FAQ

What is a Gashapon machine?

A Gashapon machine is a capsule vending machine inspired by the popular Japanese format. Participants turn a handle and receive a sealed capsule containing a prize, promotional item or redemption message. This giant version uses 10cm capsules and creates a larger branded activation moment.

What is the difference between Gacha, Gashapon and Gachapon?

Gacha is the broader shorthand people often use for capsule-toy or prize-dispensing experiences. Gashapon and Gachapon refer to the capsule vending machine format and are often used interchangeably in English. For event hire, Gashapon is a common search term, while Gachapon is also a recognised alternate spelling.

What can be placed inside the capsules?

The machine uses 10cm capsules supplied with the hire. Prizes can include suitable merchandise, small promotional products, vouchers, redemption cards or instant-win messages, provided each item fits safely inside the capsule. Clear capsules are supplied as standard; colour-matched capsules can be ordered at additional cost with advance notice.

Can the Giant Gashapon Machine be custom branded?

Yes. A full custom wrap across the front and both side panels is included as standard, along with colour-customisable LED edge lighting matched to your artwork. The marquee can either be branded as an additional panel, or left clear and used as a lit showcase displaying sample prizes. Coloured capsules and a printed internal rear wall are available as optional extras.

Is it suitable for outdoor events?

The machine is primarily intended for indoor use. Outdoor installation may be possible only in a fully covered, weather-protected area on a flat and stable surface with access to 240V standard power.

Does it require supervision?

The machine can operate independently, but an attendant is recommended for high-volume activations, token control, prize support and smooth guest flow.
